The Ballast Tank by Maximus-Modellbau was designed to get an easy access to static diving submarines. With the tank system, you are able to get a well trimmed submarine without moving of the center of gravitiy during the diving/Surfacing.

The idea of the diving bag system enclosed in a module is based on the idea of equipping the unit with a limit switch. This prevents the tank from overfilling. A limit switch is installed for this purpose on the front. The switch is a button that breaks the circuit of the pump at the maximum level.

You can use the files for submarines for max. one meter in length. There are files to use the system also for smaller subamrines. Four setups are possible.
